you don’t grow out
of dyslexia,
you grow
into
dyslexia

Once a student is assessed, knowbody tells them how to function with dyslexia. It’s dyslExperts’ goal to empower students by finding their strengths, boosting their confidence and developing their exceptional lateral-thinking skills, preferably before the self-esteem destroying perception of dyslexia hits them.

Surviving school & thriving in life

My aim is to give young people with dyslexia learning experiences to stimulate a shift in mindset.
This includes discovering personal strengths, lateral thinking skills and building resilience

I am a brand design professional specialising in mentoring dyslexic students. After 35+ years of graphic design experience, I was determined to create a typeface for the dyslexic reader, only to discover that the reading struggle is just the tip of the dyslexic iceberg.

I studied the subject of dyslexia & neurodiversity, trained as a mindfulness practitioner and I have a level 2 counselling certificate. With the experience of coaching designers, I decided to follow my passion: I developed the unique
dyslExperts approach, based on curiosity and free association.

This originates from concept development in the commercial world, combined with Growth Mindset-, CBT- and De Bono- understanding. I’m a Cert. MiSP Mindfulness teacher (age group 7-18y) and carry the life-time experience of being dyslexic.
